The photo above shows Alba di Canazei between 1950 and 1960, the era of the birth of tourism in the Fassa Valley.
Villa Flora began as a small hotel (Photo below), built by Giovanni and Flora Iori, and run together with their three children Franz, Anita and Livio. In the late 1960s the hotel was extended (see photos on the right) and in 1980 the building was again extended and transformed from a hotel into apartments.
In the 2000s the residence passed to Livio and his family and in 2007 we began a programme of improvements, including building new stairs and hallway and installing a lift. In 2009 we began work on the lower ground floor where we now have our Spa Wellness centre.
